The Pedestal Magazine Readers’ Awards

• The contest will draw from the previous year’s submissions (not including featured writers)
   • i.e. – the competition is held in December of each year and will draw from the printed submissions of that year’s issues.
               
• There will be two categories: Poetry and Fiction
• Awards:
   • Monetary awards will be as follows:
    • Poetry – 1st Place: $75
    • Poetry – 2nd Place: $50
    • Poetry – 3rd Place: $25
    • Fiction: $75
  • Winners will be featured in the February issue.
  • Once a person has won, they will be ineligible for consideration of the competition for 1 year.
• The “Readers Circle” and “Publishers Circle” donors will vote on the winners of each category by reviewing the works online and completing a voting form. (Form will be posted on the website in December, 2004)
• Results will be announced to the Pedestal’s readership in the February issue.
